Work will not begin until payment has been received based on the contract. Either payment in full or 50% down. All tax applicable items will have a PA Sales tax of 6% added to the final sale price. Includes but not limited to pre-packaged and photography.
For lager projects (minimum of $200) I will allow phased payments. 50% of the total fee will be due before work will begin and the remaining balance will be due before final files are delivered.
I will not provide spec-work / mock ups. Since good design requires research, thoughtful consideration of alternatives and development and testing of prototype designs and spec work typically requires little time, energy and thought, we will not do it. Our goal is to provide the highest quality design which we refuse to compromise. With spec work, there also comes a potential risk to us as some clients may see this as a way to get free work which diminishes the true economic value of the contribution designers make toward client’s objectives.
We feel our portfolio of work speaks for itself and should provide enough peace of mind that our work is of the highest quality.
For anything requiring shipping, we use USPS unless it is cheaper and faster to ship via UPS or FedEx. If you have a preferred shipping method (i.e. overnighted), you can upgrade for the additional shipping price. Additional features (i.e. signature reguired at delivery, etc.) will be charged an additional fee based on the current USPS rates.
WE WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST OR STOLEN PACKAGES. If the package is shown as delivered via tracking, we will not be held responsible for packages that you do not receive. Contact your carrier service for assistance.
Refunds and Cancellations: Because of the nature of the work that I do, I will not issue refunds under any circumstances. I will be more than happy to work with you to resolve any issue that you have so contact me immediately so that we can begin to work things out.
With every project I provide proofs. No job is completed until you have approved the final artwork. After the artwork has been approved the job is considered FINAL and any changes after that time will be billed in addition to the original fee. For printed items, once the proof has been approved and the project goes to press, any errors or omissions found become the sole responsibility of the client and not Raspberry Creative LLC.
I send regular progress reports to all my clients to keep them “in the loop” on how their project is coming along. If I do not hear back from a client after two weeks I will consider the project closed. If after that time you contact me to get the project going, additional fees will be required. I have had many clients just disappear without a word and then come back months later expecting me to drop everything to get their project rolling again. This is not fair to my other clients and certainly not to me so please let me know if you need to put the project on hold for a while.
Raspberry Creative LLC retains the copyright to all graphics, designs, html, illustrations or other materials associated with pre-designed items (excludes “Custom” designs). Purchasing any pre-designed item does not give you the rights to the materials or the designs but simply the rights to USE those designs. These designs are not yours to sell, rent, distribute in any commercial or non-commercial way. You only have the rights to use them for the purpose for which you purchased them. For example, if you purchase an etsy graphics package, you may only use the graphics for etsy. You may not use these graphics for ebay or anywhere else unless you have received approval from me.
Similarly, if you purchase a predesigned item and wish to modify it (either partially or completely) or wish to use it for another purpose such as a business card turned into letterhead or a banner, you DO NOT have the rights to do this! You must contact me for approval first. If you do not receive my approval first, this is considered copyright infringement and you can be sued! I am almost always more than happy to allow you to use elements from my designs for coordinating pieces but PLEASE contact me first.
With all designs, custom and pre-designed, I keep the original files, and backups of those files. I would be more than happy to design coordinating pieces to go along with the original designs at discounted rates because the initial concept is already there. Just remember, if you attempt to use my artwork without my consent, you are violating my copyrights. If you have any questions about copyrights, please do not hesitate to contact me. I will be more than happy to talk with you.
Also, I do sell the copyrights to pre-designed pieces for those that wish to do so. If you would like more information on purchasing the rights to a pre-designed item please contact me about it.
If you would like to place a custom order please let me know. If I can’t do it all on my own, I have several wonderful sub-contractors that are always there to help me get the job done.
Please keep in mind I cannot accept any returns on pre-designed or custom items since I have no way of knowing if all items have truly been returned.
Your satisfaction is my priority. If I do not make you happy and do not provide you with the best possible designs then I my business will fail. I really love what I do and I take it very seriously. If you aren’t 100% satisfied then I am not happy either!
