Welcome to the first of four behind-the-scenes posts into how we work with you, (our clients / potential clients) from start to finish. Today we are going to share about how we get to know you in those early stages of the process. Our process is ever changing and we are in the middle of making even more adjustments in the hopes of making our client experience even better.
Whether we meet you for the first time at a Wedding Expo, you find us online, you’ve been referred to us by a friend or family member or any other way, the first step we recommend is setting up a time for you to come into the shop to sit down with us one-on-one. We call this our Wedding Stationery Consultation and it’s completely FREE! While we would never turn anyone away for walking in, we prefer this consultation be scheduled in advance so that we have time to prepare. Because we want this time to be all about you, we close our shop to avoid distractions or having to juggle our time between other things. Consultations can be scheduled by phone or email or you can visit our home page and follow the link there to book your time online.
Once your consultation has been scheduled, we will send you a link to a special area on our website which provides you a little bit of information about the consultation such as what to expect, how long it will likely take, who to bring, what to bring, etc. We also ask that you fill out our simple, online questionnaire before your consultation. This questionnaire helps give us some preliminary information about what you are looking for, the size of your wedding, the style and/or colors, and so on. With this information, we are able to prepare for your consultation by pulling relevant samples that fit your style and budget. This cuts down on the time and stress a lot!
During your consultation, we’ll ask some additional questions about your wedding day, your color choices and of course allow you to look through samples. We’ll then build your potential wedding package piece by piece until we have a solid idea of the invitation suite you are going to love. We will also tell you what to expect following the meeting.
