Blush has been one of the most popular wedding colors for a couple of years now. Part of the reason I think blush has been so popular is that is goes with just about any other color. Another reason is likely because it works for any style of wedding. I really don’t see the popularity of blush changing as I look ahead to what is trending for 2017. It’s such a perfect wedding color, and it pairs so well with so many other colors. I can see why it remains so popular for spring and summer weddings but what about fall and winter weddings?
I have to admit, I got really excited when I started seeing pale pinks in fashion for this fall and winter. It works because you typically see these softer, lighter shades paired with deeper, richer tones usually associated with the cooler months. The perfect combination is mixing blush and soft pinks with colors like burgundy. It’s definitely a color trend I want to get in on and there is a ton of great inspiration on Pinterest if you need some help putting the colors together yourself!
Of course work is almost always on my mind so I got to thinking about weddings and how blush and burgundy accented with golds would be perfect for fall and winter weddings. I just had to round up some inspiration to share with you today. If I were planning my October wedding now, this would be my color palette! What do you think?
Even the bride’s dress is blush. I admit the bouquet isn’t my favorite but that dress is stunning!
Of course gold is the perfect accent to blush and burgundy. I love the textures of this cake. It’s simple but the textures make it interesting.
Even the bridesmaids can do this color combo. Both colors are extremely flattering!
