Remember our 2016 goals? We do, and if you recall, one of the many things on that list was a better customer experience. Aside from obvious things like providing top notch customer service and making the entire process easy and fun, we have also been thinking a lot about other ways to improve the experience for our customers.
A couple of weeks ago, I was meeting with a client who is also creative and artistic. Similar to me, she is very visual and when we were talking about her wedding invitations and doing day-of items to match, suddenly we didn’t have a lot of samples to show. The majority of our wedding clients order save the dates and/or wedding invitations but there is a much fewer number than goes on to order day of items. Part of this is because there are so many alternatives to programs, table numbers, seating charts, etc. but we realized that another part may just be because we can’t show our clients real samples like we can the invitations.
I’m not sure why it took us so long to figure that out but it has become one of our main topics of discussion here in the shop. Starting with all of our new designs in 2016 we are completing the package so that we can show our potential customers and even existing customers options when it comes to stationery pieces beyond their wedding invitations.
