I’ve been on the hunt for some good-looking, comfortable flats to take on an upcoming business trip. I really didn’t have anything in particular in mind when I started my search. My only goal was to find something that looked good while still being comfortable. I also really wanted them to look cute with jeans, shorts or dresses so I didn’t need to pack a bunch of shoes.
I’ve researched options online, tried out a few brands and asked some friends and family about their recommendations. Willing to invest more than I normally would for a good pair of shoes, I decided to focus in on a couple brands recommended to me by people I know. The downside is that there are so many great options out there so instead of buying them all, I thought it would be fun to do a little roundup of some of my favorites.
- Cole Haan Tali Bow Ballet Flat Natural Roccia Snake Print
- Cole Haan Women’s ‘Amalia Skimmer’ Leather Casual Shoes
- Tory Burch ‘Jolie’ Ballet Flat (Women)
- Cleo B Sevea Ballet Flats
- Banana Republic Robin Ballet Flat
I ended up with the Cole Haan Amalia Skimmer and a nude color ballet flat similar to the TB Jolie Flat. They are both incredibly comfortable and I feel confident that I’m going to have happy feet with all the walking we’ll be doing in Vegas. I am loving both so much, I have my eye on other styles and colors as well.
What about you? Do you have a favorite, go-to flat you buy over and over again?
