What could be more appropriate than sparklers for today’s DIY July topic. We just love the idea of sparklers for a bright and fun sendoff for the Bride and Groom.
There are lots of pretty and fun sparkler tags available out there or we can design tags to coordinate with your other wedding stationery (see below) but we thought of another way to add sparklers to your day to something you will most likely already have / need.
You will need:
- Hole Punch
- Ribbon / twine / string
- Tag (optional)
If your program is flat, you can simply add two holes to the top, bottom or side of your program.
Through these holes you can either directly slide your sparkler through or add your choice of ribbon or string through the hole and tie the sparkler with a bow.
You can also tie on a tag with a message or slide the tag onto the sparkler without ribbon.
If you have a folded, booklet style program you can add two holes to the spine of the program.
Run a piece of ribbon through both holes and tie your sparkler to the program finishing with a bow. If you are adding a message tag, you can include it along with the sparkler with your bow.
Simple as that and super inexpensive. Such a festive way for your guests to send you off!
