It’s officially fall and while it has been a little cooler here in PA, it’s not quite feeling like sweater and boot weather yet. Aside from appropriate attire, the weather doesn’t keep me from loving this season. Fall is by far my favorite time of year, from the colors, smells, food, clothes; I love it all and today I’ve got some amazing inspiration for fall and winter weddings that wont disappoint!
Just like any other time of year, playing with the color palette for your wedding can make a real statement and give your wedding a look that is different from other, similarly styled weddings. This year burgundy has been everywhere and it’s a great color because it can be used and paired with so many things from pale pinks and blush to ivory, gold, navy blue, deep, forest green, and mustard to name just a few. We are also loving shades of purple from lavender to plum for weddings as well! Today I’m sharing a few great mood boards to help inspire you for your fall or winter wedding!
Fall and Winter Wedding in Jewel Tones
Burgundy, Pink, Teal, Gold, Navy Blue and Ivory are a beautiful combination that is colorful without feeling bold or overpowering. Jewel tones are classic and wont go out of style and can be mixed with lighter or darker accents depending on the time of year to make it more season appropriate.
Burgundy and Blush Wedding Inspiration
Burgundy and Blush has become one of those classic color combinations that works all year round. We love it for fall and winter especially when mixed with rich gold accents!
Lavender and Plum Wedding Inspiration
From lavender and plum, there is just something about these colors that feels so dreamy and perfect for fall or winter. We love these colors mixed with rich greenery.
Marsala and Gold Wedding Inspiration
Marsala or burgundy, whichever you prefer, there is no denying that gold is a perfect pairing. One of our last invitation releases for 2018, the three-layer invitation feels so luxurious without going over the top. Deep burgundy or Marsala with decor accents of metallic gold feel so warm and cozy for a cold weather wedding.
Natural Winter Wedding Inspiration
A neutral palette of white, ivory and lots of greenery is all you need. We love the mix of white pumpkins on the table for an updated fall wedding but also love the simplicity of greens and candles for a more minimal look.
Whether you like rich color, a simple palette or even neutrals, fall and winter are great seasons for beautiful weddings! What’s your favorite look or do you have a different favorite fall palette. Leave a comment below and let us know!
