I can’t believe we are nearly a week into December already. I feel like it was just summer yesterday! Time has been flying by and with Thanksgiving being over and the Holiday Season upon us, I’ve been doing some decorating to give my home and shop a more festive feel.
I have a lot going on behind the scenes this month so I plan on keeping things pretty light here on the blog if you haven’t already noticed. So as to not go completely dark, today I thought I’d share the holiday window and the little bit of decorating I’ve been doing here in the shop. I went sort of rustic this year with plaid as my “theme”. My parents dug out the sled I had as a child, I found some old vintage thermoses and wool blankets, and created my window design. I also threw in some real greens and holly to make it feel more festive.
I carried the greenery into the shop with this beautiful arrangement that I purchased at a local craft festival held at a local park on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. It’s just beautiful and I love that I get to enjoy it all day long.
I guess I’m loving the traditional red and green in my decor this year. What about you? What’s your holiday decorating style this year? Do you keep it routine, or do you change it up each year? Leave a comment and let us know!
