It’s that time of year again. Lots of holiday photos and, for many, holiday photo cards. Every year Brad and I take photos of our five dogs and incorporate them into our christmas card, one I design of course. It has become a fun part of the holiday season that we look forward too. If you ask Freddie, he might tell you otherwise.
So, I thought that it might be helpful to give you a few simple pointers when taking your family photos during the holiday.
KEEP IT SIMPLE
Keep your background simple. If you have too much going on behind you, it can make the photo look too busy.
Posed photos can be great but also try to capture those candid and special, unexpected moments.
COORDINATE, DON’T MATCH
Avoid wearing clashing colors or busy patterns. You don’t all have to dress to match but the photos will look best if you are coordinated.
