Happy Weekend. I hope you had a great week and are enjoying some time to unwind. This week’s inspiration is lace for a bridal shower. Before you pass on the lace idea, read on because lace doesn’t always have to mean vintage romance. It can also go modern with a feminine edge or boho which is a HUGE trend right now. Lace Bridal Shower Decor
Use lace all over or just as an accent to add pattern and texture. Of course lace can easily bring in the vintage romance look or dress up a simple style by adding it in small doses like bands around mason jars filled with flowers. My absolute personal favorite is the lace table runner as a way to soften the rustic table and bold black and white striped napkins. It’s the perfect blend of modern while still feeling feminine. Of course I’m also loving the messier look mixed the birdcages with different patterns and colors of lace. This feels more airy and casual. Finally use lace for a boho look by mixing it with warmer colors and natural elements like feathers and wood.
Lace Bridal Shower ideas for Food
Don’t forget the food! Whatever your theme, there are always ways to incorporate it into every detail of the shower. One of the easiest and most inexpensive when it comes to food with the dinnerware. I love these disposable plastic plates with the lace edge detail. No clean up and they are super affordable. I also love that it’s a big step up from eating on paper plates!
Other ways to bring lace into the food is with the sweets of course. From specialty cookies to lace details on the cake to simple cupcake wrappers, the options are endless. Just remember that with food, whatever you put on the cake or cookies should be edible.
Lace Bridal Shower Stationery
Of course when it comes to stationery, the sky is the limit. We currently have these two invitations in the shop that fit this theme perfectly.
I hope this weekend’s roundup has inspired you a bit if lace is on your mind for a shower. Lace isn’t just for rustic or vintage styles!
