I just love the look of Military Wedding. There is something about seeing guys in their dress blues or whites that can make any girl go, “Ah…”.
I’ve been doing some research on military weddings, from venues to décor, from save-the-dates to thank you, and especially photography. I really enjoy seeing today’s brides look like they just stepped out of a 1940’s magazine. The way the wear their her the style of the dress, the makeup; just all of it! It’s just such a classy & classic look. Check out these beautiful photos that I found while doing some research.

There is just something about a birdcage and that bright red lip. The image below reminds me of a “honeymoon outfit” photo that would have been taken of a newly married military couple. So beautiful, and perfect makeup.

I also did some research on popular military wedding sites, and I love the look and feel of the chapel at West Point. It’s so beautiful & breath-taking. I understand that this chapel gets book as far as 15-18 months out, which I think is so amazing. There are also some other pretty military venues at different bases, including Hawaii!

I found a couple of adorable engagement photo shots that I couldn’t help but post, too!
Thanks to David Champagne Photography for these beautiful shots.

With the thought of military, and engagements both on our minds, Bethann & I came up with a little Save-The-Date that we thought would be cute and could easily be changed to match whatever branch of the military that you or your fiancée serve in.
Branding is becoming more and more common with wedding stationery. A simple element, like this M|K logo, would be incorporated in aspect of your wedding. It’s a way of tying all of your elements together to make for a great overall look & experience. For this military save-the-date, we choose simple red, white & blue for this design with hints of gold to give it that glamorous look. May you are marrying a sailor, and you want to incorporate anchor’s into your design…we can do that too!
You can also use the logo for day-of-items, such as these table “names” instead of numbers.
Whatever that we can do to help you celebrate your upcoming wedding…we’d be honored to do so. If you are a member of the service and are reading this…THANK YOU!
Wishing you only the best, today and always!
