Mint is a color that I never seem to get tired of. It’s one of those colors that goes with so many others and works for just about any style. It’s also a great color for spring and summer. With spring and summer weddings around the corner, I thought today would be perfect to share some mint and lace bridal shower inspiration. I know I just shared the rustic Mint Wedding but I can’t seem to help myself.
Mint and lace is such a romantic combination. It’s delicate and fresh and can go vintage or rustic. I love this combination on it’s own but you could also accent with peach or gray. Oh the possibilities.
I started by creating a board on Pinterest for all things mint and lace. Then I pulled a few of my favorite ideas for a bridal shower and from the collage below, I created a bridal shower invitation.
Pretty lace table clothes over a plain mint one create the perfect backdrop for simple white flower centerpieces and clear glass. Instead of a cake, these pretty mint cupcakes in lace edge cups tie into the theme nicely. Cute little cakes that look like little mint and white gifts at each place setting would also be a great option. If the shower isn’t a surprise, the pretty mint and lace outfit would be a perfect look for the bride-to-be.
The bridal shower invitation ties in the mint and lace. The invitation is white (or go white shimmer!) and has mint green lace design details from the corners. While I don’t usually like text on an invitation to have different alignments, the lace detail makes it make sense. The decorative text adds just enough whimsy to keep the lace from feeling too formal. I love the combination of gray text with the mint lace. These would be pretty mailed in a white envelope or throw in more color with a mint envelope!
Whether you like mint and lace as a rustic, vintage or romantic theme, the two work together perfectly. Whether used alone or accented with peach, gray, burlap or another color, the look is fresh and I hope you have found some inspiration to help you!
