I’ve never been one for making New Year’s Resolutions. They are too often forgotten by January 3rd, meaning not much changes the rest of the year. It also means that I’ve failed before the year has even started.
Instead of making resolutions, I like to set goals and then plan a real path to achieve those goals. Of course after 15 years of business ownership, I’ve learned a lot about setting goals with real paths of how to actually make them happen. It takes time and thought and motivation to follow through but having all the steps mapped out makes it so much easier.
For the past few years, I’ve given my goals a theme and then centered everything around that singular theme. “Change” and “Contentment” being two of my most recent themes. This year, my theme is “fearless”. There is a lot of meaning behind that word for me and it starts with setting some really BIG goals for Raspberry Creative and myself personally this year.
As I’m sure you already know, the only real way to crush any goal is identifying the steps that need to happen to make the goal happen and then map out our all those steps are going to happen. For me, the best way to do this is to use a planner and list it all out. Having something physical to write on and keep in front of me is how I keep things focused and top of mind.
As the queen of making lists and planning, I’m sharing something I’ve never shared here before – a FREE downloadable planner. You can download it here!
Free 2020 Goal Planner / Tracker
This planner is inspired by the things that I track personally and I hope that you find it helpful too. It offers a super simple way to look at the coming year at the top level…the big picture and then break them down in the smaller bits to make achieving your goals easier.
It also helps you track the things you want to become a habit (can we say drink more water or work out regularly?) it can be anything from personal habits to professional / work ones, relationships or other areas of your life.
If you love planners and are looking for other great ways to keep organized and on task at home or at work, you can also check out our collection of fun planners, pens and sticky-notes perfect for staying organized that also look great because we love pretty paper! Shop our planners and accessories here.
