What has inspired you to choose what you have chosen for your wedding? Or are you just getting started? Then what will you use for your inspiration?
Wedding planning can become very daunting, stressful and overwhelming. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE Pinterest…but it can also be a nightmare. You can become very overwhelmed with everything that is out-there and become lost to what you truly envision.
Start with a clean slate. Decide on the colors that you are thinking about using. What elements do you wish to incorporate? What time of the year is your wedding? Use these 3 key essential tools to build your wedding. If you are going for pink and blue; then a fall floral, pumpkin wedding is probably not the best. And if you are having a rustic, outdoor themed wedding; don’t choose silk. Set the tone of your wedding, and then check out websites such as pinterest to gather more information.
Pin things to your wedding board, but make sure that you double check your pins to see if you are really still wanting that idea or if it has changed. Delete what you don’t want, and look for other things that you do. Look to magazines, television shows and your friends for inspiration as well.
After you have your general idea; talk with a wedding stylist to figure out how best to incorporate specific items so that none of them will overwhelm the others.
When in doubt…less is more.
We’re always here to help you plan your happiness.
Blessings in your adventure!
