Project Feature: Julie and Mark’s Wedding Invitations
I know I sound like a broken record but I truly mean it when I say that we have had the privilege of working with some of the most amazing brides! I am thankful every day for all of the amazing people I have had the privilege to work with. Julie fits into that category as well with her pink, navy and silver glitter wedding invitations.
Julie was referred to us by some of her friends that we had worked with. I remember our first meeting well because her Mom was with her and it was clear that they have a very special relationship.
Julie was so easy to work with from the start. She had a pretty clear vision of the look she was going for and we ended up pulling bits and pieces from a number of our samples to make her perfect vision come to life. Ivory shimmer accented with blush and navy shimmer with silver glitter as an accent complete this modern yet traditional wedding invitation suite.
She was going for a more traditional and classic look that also felt more formal. She ended up choosing a combination of ivory and blush shimmer papers for her envelopes and enclosure cards. Setting it all off is the silver glitter and navy belly band and tag.
I think my favorite part was that Julie went with the blush shimmer for her details card instead of keeping all the cards ivory. This small change made her wedding invitation suite purely her own and with it being slightly larger than the response card, that little extra hint of blush is perfect.
In addition to her wedding invitations, I was thrilled when she reached out to us for her day of items as well. Her escort cards are doing double duty as their favor tag too. This was our first time making tags like this but I have to say, we love them!
For her programs, Julie went with a simple flat panel style. This is by far our most popular format but it seems to work for any kind of wedding and style. The program turned out to be the perfect compliment to Julie and Mark’s wedding invitations.
Last on the list was the menus. Julie’s original plan was to make her menus herself but in the end, she wasn’t happy with the result so she asked us to work our magic. Because she had already purchased paper for her menus, we were able to use her paper and just design and print them. This isn’t something we normally do but we were happy to accommodate!
Julie and Mark are getting married this Saturday. We never met Mark but I personally enjoyed working with Julie throughout the entire process. From the bottom of my heart, I wish Julie and Mark a lifetime of love and happiness and feel so blessed to have been even in just a tiny way, a part of this special time in their lives!
