I’m really excited to share this purple and gray architecture inspired pocketfold wedding invitation with you today. The couples love of 1920’s architecture and their choice of venue were the inspiration for this unique wedding invitation.
I met Shelby and Benjamin about a year ago as we began planning for their wedding invitations. Shelby wasn’t completely new to Raspberry Creative because we had had the pleasure of working with her sister on her wedding invitations the year before. Shelby liked the overall look of her sister’s invitation but she and her fiance also wanted something that was unique to them.
With Benjamin’s job at and architectural firm, they liked the idea of doing something that was inspired by unique architecture. They shared that was one of the reasons they chose their wedding venue as well so I knew it was something I needed to keep in mind when creating their invitations.
The final design has the traditional feel that they were looking for with design elements inspired by the architectural details they love about their wedding venue. The darker colors create a moody, kind of intimate feel to the invitations that we don’t often get to do for our clients.
