Our project feature for this week is this unique, rustic wedding invitation package for Chandler and Korbin. We had the pleasure of meeting Chandler at the Barn at Boones Dam a little over a year ago. We were thrilled when she contacted us about doing her wedding invitations and other wedding day stationery.
What I loved about working with Chandler’s ideas was that she picked bits of pieces from a few of our designs but she chose to put them together differently which made her wedding package completely unique.
We began with the couple’s save the dates. Chandler chose a studio design that we then customized with her colors and and paper choice. I have to say that I love her version better than the original!
When it came time to do her wedding invitations, I was excited by her unique paper choices. Cream envelopes, a navy pocketfold and a layered burlap and lace belly band made up with main part of the suite but inside, the invitation is printed in a unique brown cardstock that made for a a lovely compliment to the rust colored accents on her other cards. I also really love how the navy pops off the brown paper. It is definitely the focal point of the package!
Her day of items, including her program and name cards were designed to match her wedding invitations. We just love how everything came together!
I really enjoyed getting to know Chandler (and even Korbin) a little bit throughout this process. Like with so many couples, I feel a little sad when their projects are done but so happy for them that they are starting a new chapter in their lives together.
