We also had several projects to wrap up this week. My husband Brad is our unofficial pressman and the two of us worked late Monday night to print some pretty cool wedding invitations on our antique press, Edith.
We’ve made it a team effort. He’s better at all the mechanical stuff, settting up the press to print, lining up the plate and adjusting the pressure and then I can ink the rollers and inspect them as they come off the press to make sure everything looks good. This was our first time using this bronze metallic ink and I have to say, we both LOVE it! It looks so beautiful on the heavy paper.
This paper is so thick, the stack of 120 looks like 1000! I should do a comparison sometime. We got these beauties shipped out to California on Wednesday. I am so excited to find out what the lovely Julie thinks of her invitations. She was a blast to work with; very creative and not afraid to try something different.
We also had some other projects going out this week. Photo thank you cards for a lovely couple from Maine and yet another version of our popular bookmark save the date. This version reminded us of the Pantone colors of the year.
If you are a fan of our online store, shopraspberrycreative.com or our Etsy Shop, we also added some new designs this week. If there is something you’d love to see us offer, we’d really love to know about it.
Have a great weekend everyone!
