Everyone wants a beautifully designed invitation but before all that, you need to have an idea of what your wedding invitation suite will consist of. The information on this page may seem like a lot but it’s important to have an idea of what you need before jumping in head first.
WHAT PIECES DO YOU NEED?
One of the first questions we ask couples before looking at designs is what exactly they need in their invitation suite. Are you having the entire event all in one location or are you getting married in a church with a reception somewhere else? Do you need to include hotel accommodations or shuttle schedules? Do you have a wedding website that you want to share with your guests? What about a welcome dinner or morning after brunch? These are all things you need to keep in mind when deciding on your stationery pieces. If you aren’t sure what you need based on these questions, don’t worry! That’s what we are here for.
The Essential Suite
The Essential Wedding Invitation Suite is the most basic option. This suite includes the invitation, RSVP card and blank envelopes. No additional enclosures or additional elements are included. For 100 suites, this option starts at $4.00 per suite. Add on $2.00 per suite for envelope printing.
The Traditional Suite
The Traditional Wedding Invitation Suite includes the invitation, RSVP card, standard enclosure card*, blank envelopes and a small hang tag to tie all the pieces together. No additional enclosure cards are included. For 100 suites, this option starts at $5.00 per suite. Add on $2.00 per suite for envelope printing.
The Classic Suite
The Classic Wedding Invitation Suite includes the invitation, RSVP Card, standard enclosure card*, envelope liner (for large envelope), blank envelopes and a belly band to tie it all together. For 100 suites, this option starts at $7.00 per suite. Add on $2.00 per suite for envelope printing.
* Enclosure cards are perfect for providing your guests with special added details about your day. You can include reception information, directions, hotel accommodations, your wedding website address, etc.

Now Let’s figure out Invitation Styles and Printing Methods
Now that you know what pieces you need to include in your wedding invitation suite, it’s time to decide how you are going to style it. Figuring out the right invitation style and printing methods are very important. Do you prefer to keep things simple or are you dreaming of going all out for something more elaborate? We have styles and printing methods to fit all tastes and budgets.
Flat Invitation Style
The invitation is a single, flat card with no layers or special shapes. This option allows you to print on both sides if digitally printed. This is our standard package option. Double sided printing is additional but can be included.
Price increases if upgrading to letterpress or foil.
Die Cut Invitation Style
Flat, single layer card printed and then die cut into a shape. A variety of shapes are available to choose from.
Price for 100 single sided invitations =$225 (does not include matching pieces)
Price increases if upgrading to letterpress or foil.
Layered Invitation Style
The invitation is mounted onto a backer in contrasting color or pattern. Single sided printing only.
Pricing for 100 invitations to add backer starting at $50.00 (does not include invitation or matching pieces)
Price increases for specialty papers such as glitter, wood, etc.
Ribbon Band Invitation Style
Invitation card is layered onto a backer with a ribbon attached in between the layers. The ribbon wraps around the back of the backer creating a “pocket” or “sleeve” to hold additional enclosures.
Pricing for 100 invitation backers and ribbons to add to invitation starting at $100 (does not include invitation or matching pieces)
Price increases for specialty papers and ribbons.
Panel Pocket Invitation Style
Invitation is mounted to back of panel pocket. Pocket holds additional cards. Panel pocket can also be wrapped with invitation is mounting is not desired.
Pricing for 100 panel pockets starting at $100 (does not include invitation or matching pieces)
Many colors and paper options available and may increase price.
Gatefold Invitation Style
Invitation is mounted to inside of gatefold. Gatefold has flaps on either side that fold and close in the middle. Works best with belly band to hold closed.

Many colors and paper options available and may increase price. Laser cut options are also available.
Folder with Pocket
Invitation is mounted to inside of folder pocket and the additional cards are held in the pocket. Works best with belly band or tag to hold closed.
Pricing for 100 folder pockets starting at $175 (does not include invitation or matching pieces)
Many sizes, colors, formats, paper options are available and may increase price. Laser cut options are also available in a variety of colors and styles.
Here at Raspberry Creative, we offer three different printing techniques – flat / digital, letterpress and foil. You can choose just one or mix two different options for a more custom look. Below you’ll find some information explaining all three options.
Flat / Digital Printing
Description: Printed with high-tech, modern printers. Printing is smooth and can be applied to both sides of the paper. Some limitations with paper weights. Designs can be printed with unlimited colors.
Price: $ This is the fastest, most budget-friendly option.
Ideal Projects: Designs with lots of colors, photos, full coverage printing and projects with small quantities.
Paper: 100 – 120lb smooth and subtle texture papers.
Description: Has a tactile feel / textured. Plates are made of the design, ink is applied and then pressed into the paper leaving an impression in the paper that can be seen and felt.
Price: $$$ Price increases with the addition of colors.
Ideal Projects: Projects that have a classic or traditional feel but can also be for projects that want a “cool” or unique factor.
Paper: Our press can print on anything from tissue paper to cardboard but the ideal paper option is 236lb, super thick 100% cotton paper. Cotton paper has a soft feel with a subtle texture. It looks and feels very luxurious.
Description: Has a textured finish and is shiny. Similar to letterpress, the design is made into a plate and the design is pressed onto the paper with foil instead of ink.
Price: $$$$ Can be mixed with other printing methods. Price will increase if combined with letterpress printing.
Ideal Projects: Perfect for projects looking for a bit of a wow factor or projects that want a little glam or fanciness.
Paper: Paper options are varied depending on the design and the application. Mixing with other printing techniques may also help determine paper.

Find Your Fonts
The fonts chosen for a design can make it or break it. For every project we work on, we carefully choose the one(s) that has / have just the right look and feel. Of course, your vision may be different from ours and that’s fine. This is often one of the favorite parts of ours and our clients. We have a huge library of fonts that we are constantly adding to. That makes it hard to share with you every single one but we have rounded up our preferred options, grouped by style in our new font chart that you can download and pick from. Of course, if you don’t see your perfect font here, we would be happy to work with you to see what we an do.
Colors, Envelopes, Paper and Embelishments
We partner some some of the best suppliers and vendors in the business and because of that, we have all the resources we need to offer you the right color combination for your invitation suite. If you don’t see just the right options, please let us know and we’ll work with you to source the perfect materials for your wedding stationery.
Print Color Chart
Our color chart is available for both flat and letterpress printing. Custom flat colors are available at no additional cost for our wedding clients except for those ordering directly from our shop or from Etsy. Please keep in mind that ink color may appear slightly different from monitor to monitor and from device to final printed product. Phone screens tend to distort colors the most.
Custom Letterpress ink colors are available at an additional cost of $90.00 per color. Colors must be chosen from Pantone to ensure the best color. Again, colors may vary from screen to screen and from screen to final printed product. Contact us for information on selecting a custom Pantone Color.
Most of our envelopes are available in both square flap and euro styles. Pricing will vary depending on paper chosen. Metallic shimmer and wood grain options will increase price compared to most standard matte colors. Please keep in mind that colors may vary from screen to screen and from screen to physical item.

Paper Color Options
Our standard papers for all printed cards are 100 – 120lb white or ivory matte or shimmer but we do offer a wide variety of other colors and textures including our signature light kraft and standard kraft papers. Most paper colors are available as backers, pockets, folder pockets and envelope liners depending on availability. Please note, not all paper options are available in every piece. We also ask that you keep in mind that colors may vary from your screen to physical item.

Our standard ribbon is a lovely double-faced satin but some ribbons are available in grosgrain as well. We offer a variety of widths to compliment any design or application. Go super fancy with beautiful silk ribbon and add a very soft, delicate touch to your invitation suite. Silk ribbon is also available in a variety of widths to suite many applications. Silk is a custom order and additional fees may impact price.

Of course for those super special projects where couples want to go above and beyond, we offer custom embellishments where the sky is the limit. From lace or other fabrics, jewels like rhinestone buckles or other materials like acrylic, velvet, wood or metal. You can go as unique as you want to and we’ll help you throughout the process.
The Final Details
We understand that it ultimately comes down to the pricing, right?
Well in addition to all the choices above, the big deciding factor when it comes to price range comes down to the kind of package you choose. We offer three main types of wedding packages but have subdivided one to make four. You can go with a Studio Package, a Mix & Match Package, a Simple Custom or a Fully Custom package. So what exactly does that mean?
A studio package is one you purchase either from our shop, our Etsy shop or directly through us. These packages are limited in the customization and typically only include wording and basic color changes. Fonts, papers and the design remains exactly as shown.
There are no additional fees associated with a studio package beyond list price except for when additional services are added like envelope printing.
Mix & Match / Semi-Custom
A Semi-Custom or Mix & Match package is where you take a design of ours and customize it to make it yours. Maybe it’s pulling design elements from a couple different invitations, maybe it’s taking a design you love and embellishing it with a laser cut gate-fold or pocket. For many couples this is a way to get the feel of a custom invitation without the added costs.
Depending on the amount of changes and customizations semi-custom packages typically have additional fees ranging from $50 – $150 (additional to cost of the order) but may vary above or below that depending on the design time and materials costs.
Some couples love a simple, classic, more traditional look without a lot of specialized design but they still want the freedom and uniqueness of creating something from scratch. The Simple Custom Package is for a custom design that doesn’t require tons of design time.
In most cases, the design fees associated with a simple custom design package is $150-$250 in addition to the cost of the package)
The sky is the limit with a fully custom design. You work directly with a professional design on every detail of your wedding invitation. Custom artwork is created from scratch either by hand or digitally and is 100% one-of-a-kind.
Fees are estimated based on the scope of the project and billed hourly at $65/hour.
