If I order today, when can I expect to receive my invitations?

Timing will vary based on a number of factors including quantity, type and number of add-ons and the time of year.  We are also seeing some delays with some of our partners and vendors so early shipments are not expected.

For most basic orders, without add-ons or upgrades, you can expect to receive your order in 3-4 weeks.

For orders with add-ons that require additional labor and assembly, we generally estimate 4-6 weeks for an average order size.

If you are upgrading your printing method to letterpress, foil or thermography, adding full envelope printing plus add-ons, we generally recommend expecting an additional 2-3 weeks on top of the times mentioned above.

If you are still unsure, contact us with your general wish list, quantity, etc.,  and we can give you a rough estimate.

How many invitations should I order?

When planning for your wedding invitations and save the dates, you should count households, not individual people.  We recommend ordering at least 10 more than the number of households to account for late additions to your guest list, and to keep as keepsakes.

How many envelopes should I order?

If you are planning to have your envelopes digitally printed, you can order the same number of envelopes as invitation sets.

If you plan to hand-write your addresses or have a calligrapher address your envelopes, we recommend ordering 15 – 20% more envelopes than invitation sets to account for errors.  If you don’t order enough up front, additional quantities later, may cause delays.

When should I mail my save the dates?

Save the dates should be mailed out 6 – 8 months before your wedding or up to a year if your wedding requires most guests to travel or if it is a destination wedding.

When should I mail my wedding invitations?

Wedding Invitations should be mailed out 6-8 weeks before the wedding date.

How will my stationery be shipped?

All orders over $500 will be shipped USPS Priority Mail.  Orders under $500 are shipped USPS Ground. Both services include tracking and insurance.

The cost of shipping has been built into our package pricing to make it easier for you.

If you wish to upgrade shipping to Priority (for orders under $500) or to Express, you can pay for that.  Please note that shipping upgrades do not rush the production time of an order.

I’m in a hurry to receive my stationery.  Can I pay to rush the order?

Rush orders are anything under 3 weeks and must be approved / confirmed with me prior to placing an order.  I am unable to upgrade an order to “RUSH” once it has been placed.

Rush orders are accepted on a case-by-case basis and are dependent on a number of factors including timeline required, current workload and needs of the project.

Rush orders are billed an additional rush fee of 25% of the order total with a minimum of $50.

Rush orders must be paid in full up front to be accepted.

Rush orders do not include express / expedited shipping.  That is additional.

How will I know what my stationery is going to look like before I receive them?

All of our printed stationery goes through a detailed proofing process where you are provided digital proofs of the print files to review for accuracy, colors, layout, etc.  We also send you a digital mockup that includes your proofs in a computer generated layout meant to represent paper colors, envelopes and add ons.

You must sign off on all proofs and have the opportunity to leave comments, request changes or give your final approval.  Nothing prints until you have signed off on all files.

I can’t decide which invitation to pick or what / how to pick coordinating add-ons.

I’ve tried to break every detail down into simple steps so you can pick and choose just what you want.  If at any time you feel overwhelmed or are having a hard time deciding on what is going to work best, please don’t hesitate to reach out.  Inside each listing is a tab called “Email Consultation”.  Use that form to contact me with your exact questions and I’ll get back to you to help out in any way I can.  I hope to also be adding video calls to the options soon!

I’m not wild about the sample wording on the wedding invitation design I like, can I change it?

Our samples are just samples so if you prefer your wording to be more formal or more casual you can definitely do that.  All you need to do is provide your wording exactly how you want it to appear in the invitation wording form that you’ll be sent after ordering.

If you need help with wording, you can also check out Wedding Invitation Wording.

If I decide to order, what are the steps of your process?

You can read all about our simple, multi-step process.  It’s been honed over many years and we think we’ve made it easy and stress-free.

I need to add meal choices to my RSVP card, can I do that?

Just like the wording on any other card, you may revise the wording on your RSVP to meet your needs.  Just be sure to write out exactly what it should say in the wording form that you’ll be sent.

I’m not sure how to word my invitation / rsvp / details card, can you help with that?

If you still need help, you can click on the “Email Consultation” option inside the listing and email me your specific questions.

Do you offer other paper / envelope color or style choices?

Our standard paper for invitations is 120lb eggshell in a neutral white.  It’s the perfect neutral cardstock for excellent full-color printing.

If you are looking for something more custom, you can contact us about doing a custom order.  Through our suppliers, we have over 100 paper and envelope colors available.

Envelopes are available in a few standard colors that you may choose from during the ordering process.  Just like with papers, if you have something more specialized in mind or are looking for something more unique, contact us with your ideas and maybe a custom order is more suitable for your needs.  Just remember that we limit the number or custom orders per quarter so don’t delay.
