Spring is fast approaching and we’ve been enjoying getting started on wedding projects for the year. Spring Weddings specifically seem to be following certain trends and today I want so share some of that with you.
Spring Wedding Invitation Trend - Vellum Paper

Vellum paper continues to be super popular with couples. Vellum is a great way to add something extra to even a simple invitation without adding a lot of extra cost. Vellum looks beautiful left plain or printed for use as a sleeve or jacket or even a belly band. Some couples are even using vellum for their actual cards. Vellum is also pretty versatile as it can be printed in full color digitally or with foil or white ink.

Spring Wedding Invitation Trend - Wedding Monograms

Wedding monograms have been around for some time but this year, we are seeing it all over. We love monograms because they make a great design element to carry throughout your wedding stationery and decor for a cohesive and almost branded look. It’s also something that can be used after the wedding on personal stationery which gives it longevity.

Spring Wedding Invitation Trend - Minimalism

Simple, modern and minimalist is all the rage. This look is a modern take on traditional invitations and plays more with fun typography and layouts.

Spring Wedding Invitation Trend - Wax Seals

Wax seals used on envelopes, as a 3-d monogram at the top of a card or on a belly band are huge and with modern “technology” there are easy ways to get this look without the mess and time to add them. Some companies sell wax seals now that work like a sticker making this fun detail more attainable for couples.
