in your decision to work with me, you hopefully enjoy the process too!
All of our custom and semi-custom clients go through the same 7-step process.

Studio Experience

Best for…Couples on a tighter budget or timeline or for those who prefer to keep things more simple.

What’s Included…available in our standard 2, 3 4,5 or 6 piece packages with limited changes to the design (wording, fonts and text colors only).

Add-ons and additional services are available.

Semi-Custom Experience

The experience most couples choose!

Best for…Couples looking for more ways to personalize their invitations without the cost and time of a custom package.  You have found one or more designs that you love and would like to modify one a bit to make it your own.

What’s Included…available in our standard 2, 3 4,5 or 6 piece packages with the added benefit of mixing / matching elements from other designs, more detailed color changes in addition to the primary changes included in a studio experience.

Fully Custom Experience

Best for…Couples with a unique vision for their stationery they can’t find anywhere.  Budget is less important than bring your vision to life!

Semi-Custom & Custom Packages

Step 1: Introductions

If you plan to include add-ons or embellishments in addition to your invitation suite, or if you would like to begin the process for a custom wedding invitation, then it begins with you taking a few minutes to fill out our inquiry form.  You can access these form via the contact page or you can click on the button below.

This basically gets the process rolling.  It doesn’t commit you to anything but it’s a great way for me to get to know a little bit about you, your wedding and what you might be looking for.

Once I have received your inquiry form, we can either move forward with a proposal, you can order a sample kit or we can schedule an in-person or video consultation.  Please note that in-person consults in our PA studio won’t be available until January 2023.

If you choose to have a live consult, you will receive your proposal during or immediately following our meeting.

Step 2: Let’s Make it Official

With your proposal reviewed, you can then decide if you want to move forward and make our partnership official or not.  If you approve your proposal, the official contract will be available for you to sign and then you’ll be prompted to pay your retainer through the attached invoice.  Retainers are 50% of the package total.

Only after the contract is signed and your retainer is paid, will your project official.  No dates will be held until both are completed.

Step 3: The Design Process

As soon as your on the books, you’ll be sent our Invitation Wording and Change Questionnaire.  It’s here that you’ll provide all your wording, and change requests.  No design work will begin until this is completed and submitted back to me.  Once received and I’ve confirmed that all required information has been provided, I’ll begin the actual design.

The initial design can take 1-3 weeks depending on the level of customization.  Great design takes time!

Step 4: Proofing & Changes

When your design(s) is ready, your proof will be provided to you electronically via a form where you can review a digital mockup of your entire package and then review each piece in more detail individually and either approve or request changes or make comments.  

Each order includes up to three rounds of changes.  Additional rounds available with an additional fees.

Step 5: Final Approval

When you have no additional changes, you will be sent a final approval form with all your proofs as they will print and you’ll be requires a sign a print release form which gives your approval to print all files as shown. Step 6: Production

Once you have signed and submitted your print release, it’s time to print and assemble your invitations.  Production times vary depending on the add-ons, print method and embellishments but generally take 1-3 weeks.

Upon completion of your order, we carefully package your invitations up for shipping

Step 7: Delivery.  Don’t forget to grab a tissue!

All orders over $600 ship free via USPS Priority mail.  For most US locations, transit times are 2-3 business days.

Be sure to open and inspect everything right away to make sure nothing was damaged during transit.

Now it’s time to mail them out to your guests!
